B. PHARMACY (B PHARMA) – 4 YEARS (8 SEMESTERS)

The study of pharmacy is mainly concerned with the action of drugs on biological systems and their applications for human drug therapy. The program prepares graduates for the contemporary role of the pharmacist in society ensuring that patients optimize medication usage. Practical and clinical science studies begin in first year, providing students with a strong background in professional practice. The program integrates six streams of study: quality use of medication; dosage form design; social and professional aspects of pharmacy; drug discovery; biological fate of drugs; and data analysis in pharmacy.

Admission criteria

  1. Candidate must have completed intermediate science or 10+2 or equivalent with biology, chemistry, physics, math and English as main subject and should have secured minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
  2. Physically and mentally fit.
  3. Must have completed 17 years of age.
  4. Must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Purbanchal University with at least 50% marks.
